This is an original painting by Henry Martin, painted in acrylic on 8" x 8" board. This painting has also been varnished. 
 
I was lucky enough to spend March and April of 2019 on the beautiful island of Kefalonia, painting as I went. We were based in the northern peninsula not far from Fiskardo and most of my work reflects this.
 
Turning a corner on a an early morning walk I was dazzled by the sunlight reflected on the small strip of sea between Kefalonia and Ithaca. I tried to keep the rest of the painting simple around this jewel.
