This is an original painting by Henry Martin, painted in acrylic on 8" x 8" board. This painting has also been varnished. 
 
Kefalonia has a wealth of ruined buildings - the legacy of various earthquakes. They might not be everyone's cup of tea but I love them. They make me wonder who once lived there. And then I dream of what I might do with them if I had the money. These ones, overlooking the sea in Vasilikades, caught my eye as the late sun seemed to them glow from within.
 
We were lucky enough to get caught on Kefalonia when the world stopped moving in early 2020. This is one of several paintings I did there whist in lockdown. I took photos whileout exercising and then painted back at our accomodation.
