This is an original painting by Henry Martin, painted in acrylic on 12" x 10" board. This painting has also been varnished. 
 
I was lucky enough to spend March and April of 2019 on the beautiful island of Kefalonia, painting as I went. We were based in the northern peninsula not far from Fiskardo and most of my work reflects this.
 
This view of Ventourata caught my eye several times as we walked or drove past along the main road to Fiskardo.  I waited for a day when there were late afternoon shadows and the mounatins behind (the island of Ithaca) had become blue grey, in contrast with the terracotta roofs.
